Gable Design custom cabinetry began as a one man shop in 1986. The early projects were traditional wood kitchen and bath cabinetry. Requests from clients and designers for other types of cabinets, began our move to specialize in furniture and cabinetry for other rooms in the home. As the home office and entertainment center became more and more popular, we were called upon to design and create a wide variety of projects. We have also worked with commercial interior designers and architects to complete their designs.

There are no "standards" at Gable Designs. Anything from a small console or table, to a library with cabinets, bookshelves, and a desk, can be created from your ideas. We work in wood, laminate, and veneers, as well as solid surface materials, natural stone, tile, glass, metal, and even concrete. Many different finishes are available. Stains, glazes, and paints can be applied over wood and veneers. Solid color paint finishes, faux and decorative painting are also available. As you can see from the small sampling of cabinetry featured here, there are many different looks that can be created.

Gable Designs has grown slowly over the years, keeping quality and value ahead of volume. Our large number of repeat clients and customer referrals is a testament to our desire to create something special. We have received mention in a nationally published book, "My Name Isn't Martha, But I Can Decorate My Home", by Sharon Hanby-Robie, a designer we frequently worked with. From our shop in Lancaster Pennsylvania, we have built and installed jobs in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.
